OVERVIEW of JOB:
The suitable candidate needs to have strong communication skills, the ability to work in, and help people through, challenging situations, and be customer service oriented. Our main task each day is to assist customers, who may be experiencing a flood of emotions, and are depending on us to turn back the tide of uncertainty. Our cleaning team mobilizes to homes or businesses that need the interior contents to be packed and moved out so that restoration can begin. The packed content is then brought to our warehouse where it will be cleaned, deodorized, and stored until the restoration process is complete. The team also mobilizes to clean structures that have experienced a fire, water, or mold damage. The team also performs general and routine cleanings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Pack out and inventory customer contents to clean and store in house.
- High detail cleaning of customer contents and rooms.
- Obtain proper documentation of soiled, damaged, and cleaned contents.
- Pack back customer contents to home in proper rooms.
- Perform production processes as directed, including fire and water cleanup, general cleaning, smoke damage/odor removal, and mold damage cleaning- following company production guidelines per work order and crew lead.
- Ensure clear two-way communication with crew lead and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns).
- Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
- Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Walking and standing for long periods of time in addition to driving, sitting, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
- Valid driver's license
- Effective oral communication
- High School Diploma
